午前に檀家さんのところに伺いました。
古くからお寺を支えてくださっていた方が亡くなったので、
お葬式の準備をしました。
９月３０日
本日は、早朝から出発し、堺市の本山妙國寺様に伺いました。
そちらで勉強会と会議を兼ねた行事に出席し、
寺院の社会貢献のあり方と、グリーフケア・スピリチュアルケアについて学びました。
夜は高槻に戻って英会話の学校に行きました。
英会話学校にて、他の生徒さんが今度の私の海外出張が安全であることを願ってお守りをくださいました。
１０月１日
午前に、寺院の相談と土地の相談でそれぞれ専門家の方にお越しいただきました。
本日はお通夜で、通夜振る舞いも頂戴いたしました。
１０月２日
本日はお葬儀でした。
長年、自らも病に苦しみつつ、看病し続けられたことは頭が下がります。
誠にお疲れさまでした。
また、乾性寺に多大なご支援をしていただいた御恩は決して忘れません。
１０月３日
午前に、石材店の方に来ていただいて新しい永代・合祀墓についての打ち合わせをしました。
また、仏壇屋さんに屋外の祠の発注を行いました。
事業が大規模してきています。
仏祖の導きの特徴として、試練が大きくなれば救いも大きくなるというものがあります。
これからが楽しみです。
１０月４日
本日は一日お休みでした。
寺院の片づけを少しだけしました。
１０月５日
本日の午前は、本堂の電気工事でした。天井の照明が増え、明るくなりました。
午後は檀信徒・アルバイトの皆様にお集まりいただき、御会式の案内を封詰めしました。
また、世話役の皆様にはお抹茶を振舞っていただきました。
大変美味しく、お茶会当日が楽しみです。

I visited our parishioners in the morning.
A person who had supported Kenshouji for a long time had passed away,
so I made preparations for the funeral.
9/30
Today, I left early in the morning and visited Myokokuji Temple, the main temple in Sakai City.
There, I attended an event that combined a study group and a meeting,
where I learned about how temples contribute to society, as well as grief care and spiritual care.
In the evening, I returned to Takatsuki and went to an English conversation school.
At the English conversation school, other students gave me a charm to wish me safety on my upcoming overseas business trip.

In the morning, I had experts come to discuss temple matters and land matters.
Today was the wake, and the bereaved family members also provided me with wake food.

Today was the funeral.
I am humbled that you continued to care for her for so many years, even while suffering from illness yourself.
Thank you very much for all your hard work.
I will never forget the great support you provided to Kenshouji.

In the morning, we had a meeting with a stonemason to discuss the new permanent and joint grave.
We also placed an order for an outdoor shrine with a Buddhist altar shop.
The project is getting larger and larger.
One characteristic of the guidance of the Buddha and Nichiren-shonin is that the greater the trials, the greater the salvation.
I’m looking forward to what’s to come.

I had the day off today.
I did a little tidying up at Kenshouji.

This morning, electrical work was carried out in the main hall. More ceiling lights have been installed, making it much brighter.
In the afternoon, parishioners and part-time workers gathered together to seal up invitations to the Oeshiki ceremony.
The organizers also treated us to matcha tea.
It was delicious, and we are looking forward to the tea ceremony.
